It was there that as he slowly recovered from a severe stroke he found birdwatching as an activity that gave him a new lease of life and a focus. His birdwatching has gone on to be the driving force of his daily life, particularly since having to move to Lydney. Thankfully, nowadays through access to a good quality electric scooter to get about, and a superb Canon digital camera, he is able to combine his nature watching with a passion for photography to produce the many fine photographs you see on these pages.
